How to get my flat hair volumised

My hair has always been flat, no matter what I do, if I spend around an hour blow drying it, using all the blow dry and volume sprays it may have volume for an hour or two and then goes flat again, what can I do? My hair is thin, not thick and longish but not too long it weighs it down

The best thing to do is go to a reputable hairdresser and ask them what you would like. When they do your hair, watch them and learn. You can also ask them about what products to use to achieve the desired result, they are usually very happy to do that.
I think flat and thin hair tends to look fuller and bouncier when shorter, but you might not be willing to have it shorter, and it’s your choice.

I think hair curl cremes and volume mousse work great for volume even if you have straight hair.
You need lift at the roots so a blast of hot air to the roots with your head upside down works well. Also dry shampoo is great for volume.
You could try what we did years ago and get a perm.
