Recommend a blusher to stop me looking like a Kewpie doll, please

Ok, I am very pale (but not interesting), blonde hair and blue eyes (I'm such a stereotype) and I look like one of those creepy dolls when I wear much more than lip gloss. I need help.

Can anyone recommend a blusher that will make me look delightfully flushed?

Gettable from Boots would be a huge advantage.

I thank you.

has your Boots a Benefit counter?

go and ask them and get them to show you how to do it

AlistairSim · 31/05/2008 12:07

No Benefit here...not much of anything really. Think the locals still use lead and beetroot.

I need a wonder product that will magically transform me into something akin to human.

Any ideas?

no 7 usually pretty good - do you want something that is more tawny might be better ?
have had soft apricot which was good - very subtle

or the cream one in clove or rosebud looks like it'd be natural

if you were near a stila counter would recommend either hint or fade depending on if you want peachy/rosy toned

AlistairSim · 31/05/2008 15:36

We do have No7 here! Hooray!

I think I like the sound of something tawny, rosy stuff which I think should suit me...erm...doesn't.

Will give it a go, thanks.

Nars Orgasm is meant to be v good, although I found it a bit too shimmery for me. I quite like Boots Natural Collection blushers and they are only about £1.50!

Nars? MAC?

That's only a tiny step away from Boden and riding lessons.

I'm not sure I dare.

Invest in a good blusher brush, if you haven't already got one.

You could also try Laura Mercier- there are a couple of pale is shhades- or my fave for ages has been fawn by Prescriptives- I am VERY pale.
