Wedding guest outfits for teens

Looking for ideas for what my 17 year old DD can wear to a wedding in France. It isn’t black tie and French are quite traditional - no skin tight, ultra short, flesh revealing, shoulder- baring or black or white. She is 5ft7, strawberry blonde shoulder length hair

You haven’t given any budget, @wondabar, so it’s impossible for posters to know what type of brands to consider. (Or even if you’re looking for new or pre-owned clothes.)

What does your daughter like to wear? Is there a reason you’re doing this for her?

French Connection has good choices for that age group.

River Island dresses or skirt and top combos can be good too if you’re selective - but you’ll need to hurry as it’s sales time and many of their shops are shutting down.

Next online can be a good place to look for inspiration - they stock many brands now - not just nylon rubbish.

If money is no object, then, the previous poster who mentioned Self Portrait and similar has some good ideas. My youngest loves Sandro and Maje brands - but may be better to stick to English or Spanish brands ( massimo dutti / Zara/ Mango?) if she doesn’t want to be in the same dress as the French girls attending!.

I second river island . They have an amazing sale on atm . ( i may have had a large delivery this week 🙈) ASOS also has a huge selection of brands , some nice stuff too xx

Thank you for all your comments. @MuddlerInLawmy daughter is not on Mumsnet and I was looking for ideas for her. She usually dresses just how she wants to but she and I are looking for guidance as my family are Catholic and we want to be respectful of how they like to dress in church. Budget up to £100 and happy to go second hand. As we’re leaving this week, Vinted will sadly not be an option.
