I bought this jumper but I'm not sure how to style it

My strong preference is to wear a shirt with a collar under a v-neck jumper, but I can't decide if that works with the stitching on the neckline.

If shirt, what colour shirt? Black shirt? Contrasting colour? Too busy?
If definitely not shirt, t-shirt visible at neck?
Nothing? I won't wear it as the model is doing with a bare v-neck.

I’d wear it as the model is but add a necklace or simple scarf. Alternatively a simple black top under could work. Basically something that won’t distract from the detail of the jumper. Have fun playing around with different items to find what feels right for you.

It's not my style, but I'd consider a chunky necklace to make it funkier.
I think it could depend on your age? Im 48 and worry it could look old and a bit frumpy. So would wear jeans, chunky shoes/trainers/brogues with it. Maybe tuck it in a bit. Wear a vest top or cami under it.

I wouldn't wear anything under that other than a vest or camisole just to give a layer underneath but nothing that shows. For jewellery, definitely not a chunky necklace- something quite fine and delicate, gold or silver, or pearls, white or black. There's enough going on without adding anything else.

Black bottoms of your choice, delicate necklace and big black earrings would be my choice

I really like the jumper - it has an 80s vibe, which appeals to me.

Agree that it needs nothing but a black camisole underneath it. Black trousers, black mini, black pencil skirt would all work.
