Anyway, I really want a pair of cowboy boots. I love these.
But - I'm 65.
I still feel young at heart and on the quirky side - was boho before boho was 'a thing'. I worry that I'll look try-hard.
And I'm less confident in what to pair them with. All the pics on t'internet seem to show young things wearing boots with shorts and tiny skirts. I like flowy stuff or jeans.
Should I go for it? TIA

Go for it! Age is just a number. I think they’ll look great with a maxi skirt or dress, or jeans.

They are lovely boots that will go with lots of outfits and are definitely not try-hard!

I was also expecting something much more out there! Those are perfectly nice looking boots and if you want them then you should get them.

You’re definitely not too old. I posted on here last week about whether I was too old to get my nose pierced at 44. Buy them!

Definitely get them - you'll find you'll develop lots of outfits around them as you get used to wearing them.

(age 64, bought cowboy boots for a hen do, liked them so much I'm keeping them for casual wear)

I’m 61 and would wear those. They’re a real classic boot and you’ll get loads of wear out of them.

I really like them. I’m 68 and I’m just closing in on some cowboy boots too. I want ankle height and flat, otherwise I’d be nicking that link!

I don’t like any kind of knee length boots with jeans but I’d wear those with midi or knee length skirts.

I'm a similar age to you, OP. I'd wear them. I bet they'll look fabulous on you.

They are lovely, they would look great with floaty maxi skirts and dresses. And shorts. I would love a pair but doubt they would fit my big calves.

I recently bought a pair of mid-calf cowboy boots on Vinted, though I'm really not sure what I'll wear them with, other than jeans. I don't even like wearing boots, I'd just binge-watched two series of America's Sweethearts on Netflix though...
