New York clothing stores for men

Hello,

its DH’s birthday soon and as we are going to New York soon I thought it would be a really good idea to buy him a clothes shop voucher (voucher) to use in a store there (we will be clothes shopping a lot out there). The problem is i am a bit clueless on shopping and brands in general and I can’t think of any men’s clothing brands that we could only get out in NYC (so it’s special). Any ideas?
Perhaps for some nice jeans even.
DH is 6ft 5 and quite understated . He’s 44.

Where does he normally shop? Asda or Hugo Boss? What kind of range are you looking for?
Madewell is popular denim brand at the moment but men’s jeans are $170.

I advise you make a voucher and just buy him a pair so you are it tied to a specific shop.

We went to LA at Easter and DH got a suitcase full from Marshals which is like TK Maxx including some decent Levi’s for £25. Generally i found clothes cheaper in the US (and everything else hideously expensive)
