Holiday: UK city break
packed: 3 Nobody’s Child dresses
1 pair of sandals and 1 pair of Converse
4 pairs of trainer socks
Underwear
Toiletries that are running out and that I will be able to finish on the break
Packed in a le Pliage bag
1 bag for out and about
Coach bag for makeup and tech stuff
1 foldable shopper with breakfast items that can be folded up and stashed travelling back

I have gone pretty minimal.

I’ve just started packing and finding it a bit stressful. It’s 5 nights in Paris then 5 nights at a more relaxing hotel in the Dordogne.
So far I’m planning:
Cream and black polka dot midi ruffle dress
Green and pink tie dye style mesh dress
Blue midi dress with cut out waist
Bright green tube midi dress
Bandeau Zebra print long dress
Dusky blue cami midi dress
emerald green wrap satin skirt
2 pairs denim shorts - both distressed/faded/slouchy style.
4 cami tops - kind of ruffled or just plain cowl satin style that can be mixed and matched with skirt and shorts
2 swimsuits - teal blue and raspberry
1 cropped trench coat
1 cream blazer
1 pair tan flat strappy sandals
1 pair Tokyo OG trainers
1 pair tan cowboy boots
1 cream leather MJ hobo bag
1 gold/cream clutch bag
I’m thinking of taking a long cream trench coat as well in case it rains - weather can be very unpredictable in France!
In Paris, not planning to “get ready”
for evenings so the one dress will be worn all day. I’m then hoping to re-wear the Paris dresses in Dordogne for meals out after swimsuits/shorts by the pool. Will probably bring some travel wash just in case.
Do you think I’ll have enough?

I think you've got too much and have you packed any pj's?

Most hotels have irons though, surely?

tbf I now see she says 'backpack only' rather than backpacking but still lists lots of destinations so could be a lot of ironing.

I wiped some dust out of my suitcase before using it as Christmas pressie storage if that counts?!

@LivingDeadGirlUKI thought linen was meant to look rumpled 🫣 may have a rethink of those items now!
@RemusLupinsBiggestGroupieNot staying in hotels so may struggle with finding an iron. I wonder if spritzing with water and letting air dry would solve it.
@defrazzledI’m putting on my ‘biggest’ shoes which are some ASICS runners, dad style trainers. Ideally I wouldn’t even bring them but will have a few hard walks in mountains (on paths) to do. Thanks about the sandals, they’re my favourite pair!
