My 11 yo daughter starts high school next month.
The uniform is fairly relaxed with school hoodies/sweatshirts and black bottoms - skirt, trousers, leggings or jeans.
My daughter is extremely slim but also reasonably tall. She's still got shorts age 5-6 that fit her around the waist! She'd like some flared leggings but I can't find any that fit her properly. Or she'd like some flared or wide leg jeans but again, it's really hard to find anything that works. Age 11-12 jeans in H&M do for her if pulled in to the tightest fitting on the adjustable waist, but then they bunch up awkwardly and don't sit properly. I think it doesn't help that she doesn't yet have any curves. Lots of the other girls will be wearing those stretchy tube sorted of mini skirts but even they don't sit right on her body.
She's quite an anxious person and naturally feeling nervous about school so I want to find her some clothes that will fit her nicely and that she'll feel confident in. She's already very conscious about her slim frame and hates the fact nothing fits her...so am reluctant to take her out shopping and have been ordering (and returning) stuff online.
Any suggestions of shops that might have something? Feel like I've tried everywhere but to no avail...
