I’m abroad so this could be an international search but so far I am failing. Saw a woman wearing an incredible dress that I fell in love with. It was ankle length, pale blue with a slight a line. Shirt and collar to it and side pockets I think. It looked like a sturdy, good quality cotton because of the crispness of the way it looked. It had long sleeves which she had rolled up. She looked glorious!

i have searched online and can only find cheap polyester or dresses that are too short or too flimsy. I am gutted I don’t ask her but I suspect by her colouring that she was Nordic and wouldn’t have appreciated a drunken Celt gibbering on about her dress.

oh wise researchers, please help me find this gorgeous dress!

Banana republic do long kaftan shape dresses in poplin which fit that description. Tried one on in NYC but they never sold it in the UK.

My friend had one just liked you described and it was from Zara a couple of years ago. It looked so fresh and crisp I remember commenting on it at the time, I couldn’t believe it didn’t look creased at all.

This is a different style…but Aspiga have lovely cotton dresses and their sale is on. I bought a blue dress which sounds similar to your description from the White Company, but not this season. Hope you find something. 😀
