Good quality gold studs and hoops for a preteen

I'm looking for some gold earrings for my 11y old who has recently got her ears pierced. She can only wear gold studs when she starts secondary in September and she wants some comfortable gold hoops for sleeping in. She has quite sensitive skin so I am thinking she needs gold or at least gold plated? Where should I'm look for good quality gold earrings and what do teens wear? I only wear silver so a bit clueless.

Well, teens tend to wear shite
from Evissa (think it’s national) and just stick in the studs for school. Does she really think she’ll change into hoops to sleep?
what does she want, ball studs? What did she get pierced with?

Unless she’s allergic. Keep it cheap. They lose them!!

My girls are sensitive to soaps and shampoos etc…. But fine with cheap earrings as we found out after they lost a few pricy ones!

Agree on staying cheap. My dd has sensitive skin but been fine with cheap earrings, she’s had to be after “borrowing” an expensive pair of my diamond studs and loosing one. She’s not actually allowed earrings at all at school, she took them out before school and just put them in her pocket 🤦‍♀️ . Her ears are fine now for her to leave earrings out longer so she no longer takes them out last minute, unless she forgets.

Solace Jewellery do special hypoallergenic stuff and are doing 25% off at the moment. Or 30% - I wouldn't pay full price as there's always codes around.

Thanks all, good tips! she's got the stabdard gold with stone in that she go when they were pierced. Someone got her some nice shape studs but theyre not comfortable for sleeping. School says gold ornsilver 'round studs'. People have been telling her about Pandora but theybseem expensive if she will inevitably lose one ...

I have dreadfully sensitive skin, and have found Lovisa to be good, and also Silver Rain Silver on Etsy.

I love Matchbox, not solid gold but really good quality and very pretty

You’ve resurrected a zombie from a year ago. There is a message telling you this when you post on an old thread.

Ha! This was my thread, I don't mind it being ressurected. We went with Solace and Silver Rain in the end. Both great, but the Silver Riand Stuff is better value for money (for the next lot looking for pre-teen first jewellry).
