if you're handy with a sewing machine they're a piece of cake to make - just a couple of T-shapes and a hood. you can make a littly one from one beach towel. now dd's 5 it takes 2 towels though, which is usually more expensive than buying one. anyone know a good place for cheap beach towels?

pointydog · 27/05/2008 19:44

I get mine from my mother when she comes back from hols in Gran Canaria

pointydog · 27/05/2008 19:44

not mine, that would be odd. They are for the dds

janeite · 27/05/2008 19:49

We bought dd2 a Boden one which is lovely (expensive though). She's currently using it as her "slob around the house" outfit, accessorised with my fluffy socks and her thumb in if she thinks she'll get away with that.

It has washed well and on the whole has been a good buy I think.
