my mum had hers done and they look fab she has no complaints about them.
she just had a saucy calendar done too, nothing gross but she has got tons more confidence.

No personal experience but I work for the NHS - and what I've heard - and it is just workplace gossip so I don't know how much fire there is to the smoke - but what I've heard is that they aren't universally great and there is a fair bit for the NHS to do in picking up the pieces. Ask lots of questions about the after care etc you'll get.

Hi Tetti,

I've had my boobs "done" and I'd recommend your first port of call to be your GP. They'd be able to give you details of local surgeons who have normally worked within the NHS for a number of years before setting up privately.

I know Transform and their ilk advertise having been in the business for years but that's the company and not the surgeons. Before going to my GP I had a consultation with one of the well known companies on Harley Street and came away with no confidence in the surgeon who'd only been working in the UK for a few months. Obviously this is only my opinion and experience but keep your options open, shop around and don't rush into the theatre!

I have been told to use GP for recommendations too. I'm heading for reduction and will be seeking gp advice.
