Gym leggings *not* high-waisted?!

I wear my gym leggings to death but just noticed an old pair is developing holes. Went to buy new ones on M&S (cheap, reliable) but they are ALL high-waisted and I am a short-waisted, post menopausal woman who gets thicker round the middle with each year that passes. I’ve never had much of a waist and although most of my current leggings are high-waisted, I dream of a pair that doesn’t reach my bra and then roll up as soon as I move.
I know I’m going against fashion but do mid-rise leggings exist anywhere?!

I can’t be the only short waisted woman in the country.

If high waisted are rolling down they are probably not good. I always thought that leggings rolling down was normal. Got a pair of Lululemon and the don’t roll down but are very pricey, I would say worth it (I live near an outlet though so no full price and still expensive)

Maybe I should go up a size and see if that helps. It could be the leggings are too small as I have probably had them all 5+ years . . .

Try Decathlon. Their own brand stuff is good value and if you look through photos of each style you'll get an idea of where the waistband sits. Filter by seller to see their own brand stuff. Failing that there are usually good discounts on older stuff on Sportsshoes.com although they are running oriented (filter by size to avoid all the OOS options).

Thanks! 🙏

@Fretfulagain did you try any of them on?
I'm 5'3 and podgy, but small waisted for my size.
I cannot wear high waist jeans as they slip down to my waist and the crutch heads for my knees.
I've got several pairs of Iuga high waist leggings from Amazon and they don't roll at all.
My favourites are what they describe as thermal, they've got a brushed lining, and for me they're more comfortable when it's hot.

I'm not a fan of the high waisted legging either - they reach up to my ribs. I've found the sweaty betty power leggings are not as high waisted as some. They annoy me though as they only have one side pocket, when they could easily give you two.

Sweaty Betty Power leggings are the best I have ever tried and I've been running for over 30 years so tried a few!

They are not cheap though and the quality has declined recently imo so get them in the sale. If you're not bothered about the colour you can usually get a pair with a decent discount.

I know people swear by Sweaty Betty but so pricey! I have found that Adidas offers mid-rise leggings though - at a 'normal' price so may try a pair.
