My DD is going into secondary school in September and they are not allowed smart watches. What type of watches are your DD wearing at the moment. I don't really know where to start.

Totally get you! My DD’s school is the same—no smartwatches allowed, which honestly isn’t the worst thing 😅 Right now she’s wearing a cute, basic analog watch from Timex (they’ve got some colorful ones she actually likes).

Some friends went for Casio or Swatch—super durable and still stylish without any tech drama. Just make sure it's easy to read and not too bulky or they'll “accidentally” forget to wear it every day 😂

No-one wore any watch at any of the schools my dc attended

I forgot about Swatch they used to have nice ones. We had Casio G Shocks but that was years ago.

She's asked for a watch so I'll maybe point her in the Swatch direction and see what she thinks.

DTs wear old school Casios. Copied me. Lots of them do.

I got my DD a citizen eco drive with a chunky silver bracelet - it’s lovely and doesn’t need a battery.
