Navy linen v-neck dress with fine tan lines, cut out in back and asymmetric seam in the skirt. From M&S a few years ago, about £45. White Birkenstock Madrids, £60? Vintage Ray-ban Wayfarers, £40 ish.

til tok shop casual sale bargains. The trousers I thought were joggers, but they are actually tie waisted trousers in quite a nice material. Too cheap to think how much they were.

I'm in Greece so wearing a cotton seasalt sundress and a pair of cotton undies. About £60.

A grey/brown linen dress, it's shapeless, with a frill at the bottom, reaches just above my knees. No idea where it's from, charity shop buy for £2. Best investment ever made for these hot days ..bare feet as in the garden...

Blue and yellow striped cropped trousers and a pale turquoise polo shirt. Both Lands End sale five years ago. Total value probably south of £25.

I'm now changed and also wearing an ancient Toast heavy linen/cotton mix dress, in a sort of airforce blue. Sleeveless, full skirt, crossover back. I've had it for years, cost a small fortune (to me) at the time (£150?) but has done me proud in cost per wear. So much so that I also bought it in green!
