Dress up ideas for hot summer?

Single woman in 40s here.
Bodyshape: slim and bit of athletic

Most of my clothes are very casual and out of loop in the wardrobe.

Last 5 years been single after break up with long term boyfriend. So, not many options for dress up for a date.. probably 6+ years without any sex..

Thinking of dressing up and getting back into having a date and relationships..
Bit nervous but, I miss so much having a sex recently..

Any ideas for dressing up while being comfortable and looks great?
Any particular dress styles or trends I should look for that are flattering and comfortable?

I'm wondering if everyone's been avoiding this thread for the same reason I'm hesitant. But in case it's a genuine question, I think a nice look would be wide leg linen trousers and a halter neck top, which should look good if you have athletic shoulders

When you say dressing up do you mean day to day or going out?

I’m slim/athletic and during the day I’m wearing shorts and t shirts (sometimes with a tiny bit of abs exposed) for a date or night I’d wear a dress that was flattering and stylish but also I could eg show off my legs or waist. I think that’s easier to do in summer!

A hairstyle that is off your face and neck and unfussy.

Pretty much everything unfussy - minimal jewellery (stud earrings for example).

Regular pedicure so feet look nice in open-toed shoes. Shoes that your feet can breathe in and are comfortable/ you can walk properly in.
