I am 28 and would still wear converse or bright pink etc. Today I am wearing a stripey top in pink, turquoise and brown and I look slightly 'Children's TV presentery' but dont care.

schneebly · 26/05/2008 14:50

Disclaimer: I have no style anyway so don't listen to me.

yama · 26/05/2008 14:50

My friend is 41 and looks great in her Converse. The more outrageous the better I say.

Ledodgy · 26/05/2008 14:50

I'm 31, 32 in July and I tat around in tatty converse mine are black and white though.

noddyholder · 26/05/2008 14:51

43 and still wear them without a second thought

Saymyname · 26/05/2008 14:52

Depends if it's the shoes or the ankle boot thingies. I don't think anyone over student age can get away with the boots.

schneebly · 26/05/2008 14:54

In fact I may just get some converse for starting University in September

noddyholder · 26/05/2008 14:54

why all the rules?

PerkinWarbeck · 26/05/2008 14:54

I am 30 and still a converse wearer. those, or old-skool adidas.

SmugColditz · 26/05/2008 14:55

No boots? Even with trousers?

OP posts:
Saymyname · 26/05/2008 14:56

Just my opinion, not gospel

forevercleaning · 26/05/2008 14:59

43 and never out of them except when in my doc martens.

if you like them, you wear 'em !

PerkinWarbeck · 26/05/2008 15:00

boots are fine with trousers, but a bit twee with skirts.

Ledodgy · 26/05/2008 15:01

Mine are boots and I wear then with jeans.

icklelou · 26/05/2008 15:08

28 here and I've had several pairs of Converse, although I don't have the boot ones but can't see why anyone shouldn't wear the boots. I wear my plain white ones mostly, but would still wear my pink ones if they hadn't fallen apart (they were very well loved )

absolutely not, i must be ridiculous at 40 if you are too old at 28. round here they have to be a grubby white. dh has some fab leather ones, mine are khaki and dd are tomato red. and no we dont all wear them at the same time.

swedishmum · 26/05/2008 16:42

I'm 44 and wear boots with jeans/trousers. My favourites are my all black ones. I wear shoe ones in summer but think the boots look better.

FrannyandZooey · 26/05/2008 16:43

well if it is I am beyond the pale at 36

BecauseImWorthIt · 26/05/2008 16:45

48, and bright pink ones

PersonalClown · 26/05/2008 16:45

I'm 29 and have 6 pairs. 4 hi-tops and 2 low-tops for all occassions!!
Sod what anyone else thinks!!!

Flamesparro · 26/05/2008 16:46

SmugColditz · 26/05/2008 16:49
