Help! Need to cover greys quickly at home in between appointments.

Due to caring for my dad, I've missed my appointment and have no idea when I can rearrange. I normally have hi lights and a tint to cover and blend the greys. Is there anything I can use at home, that's quick and easy and more importantly fool proof!

Glaize hair conditioner from superdrug. You put it on for 10 minutes and was off in showers. No mess and doesn't block colour everything so you get different shades based on original colour. It only lasts a couple weeks but a bottle lasts lots of applications for me.

Hair make up. It’s like an eyeshadow and comes with a sponge applicator. It makes a big difference

You can use the root touch up kits. So easy.

I'm not a hair dresser, but am likely 50% grey and use l'oreal casting colour creme which is a semi. I've used it since they overcooked my highlights and my hair snapped off years ago- so never had a colour in a salon since!

The colours come out several shades darker. I'm a chestnut/dark brown, but use light brown colours, so you'd want a much lighter colour.

Thank you, this is my hair. Grey worse in the front. I didn't really get on with the hair make up if I'm honest but it may have improved.

Wella Colour Fresh do temporary colours which cover 50% of grey and last around 10 washes. This got me through lockdown!

Watching with interest! TBH your hair really doesn’t look too bad at all and I can’t see any greys - fish greys are a nightmare though aren’t they
