Nice flats to go with Me&Em dress

I'm very pleased with it, I know it's quite safe, but I like it and it will work for me through different occasions and seasons. However, I need some nice flats to go with it. Today I've tried on flats/very low block heels in Sezane, Russell & Bromley, Pretty Ballerina, Zara and Marks & Spencers. Big fat no - unflattering, uncomfortable. I have a bunion and I can't manage things that cut around that joint, or skimpy sandals which show my unlovely feet. (of the sort worn by the model in the Me&EM website) I have some chunky footbed sandals from Marni, deliberately wore them to try with the dress today, and they are great, but not the look I'm after. Me & Em have a pair of square toed ballerina type pumps, but at £365, that's too much. I've already returned one pair of shoes to Charles and Keith - pointed silver slingbacks, very pretty, painful to wear.

Since I can't surgically change my feet before 25 July, which is when I need this outfit, does anyone have any ideas?

Have you looked at the Mint Velvet sale? They have lots of nice flats in it.

Vivaia could be a good place to look, but golly GBP 275 for polyester that is steep.

Thank you for the suggestions and yeah, yeah MN bingo, I was waiting for the polyester remark! I have linen, cotton, silk, cashmere in my wardrobe and yes, yes, lovely they are too. But I wanted a certain cut, a certain fit and this is what I found in budget.

That’s a really fabulous dress, love it. Air and Grace have some nice flats, I have a pair of their sandals and they are v. comfy. I’d go for gold too.

I've long been a fan of Saltwater Sandals, but have a newish pair in these soft sole versions.

They are so comfy and look good with everything (imo)

i tried these on yesterday. They are much nicer in real life and the leather is so, so soft and flexible. My feet are wide and shoes always rub at my big toe joint, but these were a great fit
