Please show me my summer sandals!

I am in desperate need of some new sandals. I know exactly what I want, but cannot find a match anywhere!

I want a wedge heel - medium height around 2 to 4 inches.

The upper must not be too skimpy as I have some ugly raised veins along the top of my feet. They need to be covered up a bit, so some sort of T bar or some clever criss-cross straps would be ideal.

I don't care what the shoe and sole are made of, as long as they are likely to wear well and are comfortable.

Cost can be up to £70.00 but they'd have to be an exceptional pair of sandals if they are over £50.00!

Colour must not be too 'in your face' Neutral would be good, like light brown or beige.

I am intending to wear them with summer skirts as well as under trousers - just something to make my legs look a bit longer and more elegant.

Have just looked and they are nearly perfect - exactly the sort of natural, unobtrusive look I am after.

BUT... the straps only cover the bottom bit of my foot, just near my toes. My ugly veins are higher up and would be totally exposed. That's the problem for me with most sandals. It's why I end up wearing crocs (sorry Cod!)

I am not expecting my veins to be totally hidden by my sandals, but don't want them totally on show, either.

I guess these are no good either then? I've got last year's version of these and they are sooo comfortable.

There are some others that look possible further down this page - e.g. the Hush Puppies ones - too high?

Lisalesslumpy, those Next high wedge sandals look fab - just the sort of coverage I want and in the right colour. I will need to see the heel in the flesh to decide - will get to a Next asap.

The camper ones are good but may not cover my veins enough and I need something in a lighter colour. Several from the Shoeshop.com page look like possibilities. Ledodgy, your sandles look nice - I wish the heels were higher as I have some flat birkest but I want something a bit higher as a contrast.

This is the first time I have asked for style advice in the new style and beauty section. I am well impressed
