Fancy outfit for DS Year 6 leaver's do

Hi all,

My DS is a theatre kid and has his heart set on a sequin jacket but I think he'll boil alive! Does anyone have any ideas for a sparkly/exciting outfit for boys that might work for him? Size is age 12, could possibly get away with XS mens.

What about a sparkly waistcoat? There's loads on Amazon to get some ideas.

Is it a sparkly jacket type of party? Usually the year 6 leavers parties at our school boys wear shorts and T-shirts girls wear something a little bit more fancy. Nobody wears formal wear.

My older DS wore shorts and a t-shirt but anything goes really. The girls are always very sparkly.
