I think you need a personal shopper!!

You need to get a good haircut for a start which is chic and easy to manage. try a new hairdresser and ask for a new look.

Principles have lovely stuff in and you sound like you have a lovely figure so be bold and daring.

do you work? do you have much time?

I can imagine you in a navy shift dress and flat ballerina pumps or brown linen trousers with an orangey top and chunky beads with flat shoes.

You sound like you have a lovely slim figure. I'm broad shouldered with slimmer hips too have a bit of a complex about looking like a shot putter cos of shoulders.

Wide leg linen trousers are good at the mo, with a long fitted top and some funky accessories.

Tying big belts round the waist seems to be popular at the moment but personally I'm a bit dubious. You could give it a go tho

you could def do the belt thing - I see loads of huuuuuuuuge people do the belt thing and ask myself 'why draw attention to the biggest part of you?'

Go to the Dorothy Perkins website and Gok is there telling you what to wear for your shape.

post a picture of yourself please.

you can look chic. good haircut and hair straighteners - takes 5 minutes.

you need to believe in yourself and have some confidence!

Orangey colours could look lovely on you or go for a neutral colour with brown linen trousers and chunky beads and wedged shoes or flatties.

Buy some good jeans (tho mine are from Sains and fab!) and lots of tops and wear with beads and things. Nice belts and earrings.

Sort out your makeup. go to bodyshop and ask for help like I did. Made a world of difference.

Mascara and lipstick, hair straighteners, jeans and trendy top and voila!
