Talk to me about handbags

So, my kids are now teenagers and for the last few years I’ve been loving the freedom of walking out of the house with my keys and my phone in my pockets - no need to carry water bottles, spare clothes, toys etc. Oh the joy!

However, I do quite like a bag, but I don’t want loads of them. What would be the perfect handbag for less than £100? The one that works for all occasions and with all outfits?

How about the PomPom Sutton sling? Not too big or small, crossbody for convenience, and a style that will last.

£100 doesn't go far for a handbag. How about a trip to TK Maxx and some nice lunch?

For me the perfect bag is an over-the-body bag in a camera style, quite boxy so that i can fit in my kindle, phone, purse, keys and maybe some makeup. I like the ones in Oliver Bonas where you can change the straps.

I have a couple of everyday bags. One which I can fit all and sundry in, and a smaller crossbody one that fits phone, tissues and keys. Seems to work for me.

Ooh, thank you for the links. Interesting that the cross body camera style bags in them. I’ve got a couple of cheap ones but it might be time for something a bit better quality.
