I'm especially gobsmacked at the expensive t shirt dress

It's just another advertorial. Is the writing usually so 'I'm talking to you, honest, I definitely haven't bunged this through ChatGPT with an instruction to try to sound friendly when these items are only here because the brand has paid for it'?

True, the Guardian loves Zara where nothing fits me (too tall) and Nobody's Child and Other Stories etc. The field of exploration fashion wise is quite narrow

The Guardian isn’t somewhere I naturally go for fashion or style inspiration. The FT is - it’s probably shown me thousands of clothing, accessory and jewellery brands I would never have heard of without HTSI.

That t shirt dress is probably the only think that was vaguely normal on that list. The CeliaB dress at £££ was utterly insane, and she recommends wearing it on the beach!! I'm convinced that dress is a paid for promotion or similar because it makes no sense otherwise

I'm interested to read this kind of thing for ideas, but I very rarely buy any of it.

Except if I see something greatly praised then reduced to £13 in a sale.

And as far as shoes are concerned, I am only interested in ridiculously comfortable ones now, for which I am happy to pay almost full price.
