Early I know 🥳 … I’ve been emailed offering pre-order on Liberty London Christmas Beauty Advent Calendar

There are some duplicate items as last year and far too many sample perfumes (I have a drawer full). It’s also classing 6ml and 8ml perfume as FULL SIZE, which I’m sure must be a mistake.

Pre-order offers a £25.00 discount.

What are people’s thoughts?

Oooh I’m tempted by this. The La Mer lip balm alone is worth £56.

I had it last year and it was good, but not great. I think I’ll probably go with a different one this year as there’s nothing that grabs me hugely.

Too many perfumes I think. Also why does every beauty advent have to have Elasticiser in it? I’ve got about 20 of those - does anyone even use this stuff??

I'm usually a fan of liberty but not feeling it with this one.
Will hold out for harrods/ space nk/ selfridges

Previously I’ve liked the calendars for discovering new products; as they allow you to sample high end brands at an affordable price. There just isn’t enough variety of items this year … like @Retireornot says, how many Elasticiser’s do you need. I especially like moisturisers, cleansers, serums & treatments. I do like the odd perfume sample too … just not 8 all at once.

I totally agree @IDontHateRainbows The Liberty one didn’t fill me with joy to be honest. I looked on Harrods site and theirs isn’t showing yet. When they get it right they are really worth the money but can be false economy if the contents end up in a drawer.

@Retireornot definitely too many perfumes. This year the 8 perfumes make up a 3rd of the calendar 😮

@mynameiscalypso Yes I agree it was ok last year. I think the reason they haven’t included a candle this year is they ended up refunding for that item last year due to reported issues.

@concreteschoolyard Its great if it contains items you know you’d use but for me the Lip balm isn’t something I use to be honest.
