Supportive bralettes? (32FF)

DidntHaveTheLatin · 01/07/2025 12:59

Is there such a thing? Obviously I'm not expecting the same support I'd get from a wired bra but I'm looking for a step up from flimsy crop tops.

Same size as you and a longstanding bra fitter.
Bravado Sculpt have been the best non wired supportive style I’ve ever found. The sizing is a little strange- you’d be best with a M- fuller cup.

Sculpt Bra

The sustainable Sculpt Bra stretches to fit and conform to your body, with gentle fabric against your skin and built-in support for up to an FF cup.

Bravissimo Zara. 30GG here and this is the one. Alot of the others while they may appear to 'fit' do not give you enough support in the band.

I’ve tried to like this bra, but the bottom rolls up which becomes uncomfortable (32E/F)

Ohh this has taken me back, thank you - I'd forgotten this brand but I LIVED in their nursing bras years ago!!

Thanks so much for all these recommendations everyone, really appreciate it and will look into them all!

Molke - I saw these years ago and had forgotten the name so thanks for that.

The Glamorise ones look nice but the sizing looks limited, sadly.

@Arlanymor, rehearsals at 6pm hmmkay?

i have 3 from Lemonade, that i love, they work really well. (40/G)

These are really good! I am size 8 and wear a 32E/F and an XS fits me perfectly.

These look similar to the Bravado style, and pretty well-priced, thank you!

Without wanting to be a massive knob, though...if you're a size 8 and wear an XS in these then I'd have thought you'd want to try a 28 band size in normal bras...but if you're happy with your normal bra size then pls ignore me!)

They're based on the nursing bras but the addition of the fuller cup is a game changer.

Yeah they are really good, I highly recommend them! You forget you're wearing them and they wash really well and look good under clothes.

Thank you for the tip! Yeah tbh, like many of us, I feel like I've been on a lifelong journey to find my ideal bra and never quite got there 😅 but as I only wear an underwired bra for special occasions now, I'm happy enough with the ones I have :) Also I can only imagine the headache of sourcing even more 'niche' sizes than the one I currently have!!

I vote for the M&S flexifit too. The M&S big cup bralettes in general are good. I'm a 30H / HH (depending on the manufacturer/fit) and find they are a good combination of comfort, support and not too matronly looking.

BlibBlabBlob · 03/07/2025 11:41

I'm a big fan of Molke (the original style, can't get on with any of the others) and wear them every day. But I've also got these for lounge/sleepwear and they're supportive enough that I'd also happily go out in them unless I was wearing a particularly fancy outfit and wanted the added perkiness/support that the Molke bras give me. I'm a a 28H/30GG in regular bras, not that I've worn a regular bra for many years now! Can't cope with the thin straps or underwiring these days.

Fuller Cup bra

Bestselling Fuller Cup bra: Comfort and everyday support for larger cup sizes. Fits up to a 56" back, K cup. The high back reduces pressure on the neck and shoulders and prevents strap slippage. No fiddly fastenings - simply pull it over your head.

If you're looking for a bra that you genuinely forget you are wearing - in a good way, better than literally not wearing a bra! - then honestly give the Big Bloomers Co one a try. It is the comfiest thing I have ever found that also offers some support.

I’ve tried to like this bra, but the bottom rolls up which becomes uncomfortable (32E/F)

I think this is an issue with all bralettes unfortunately.

I found my now ‘uncomfy’ under wired Fantasie bras were due to yet another cup increase …… and the right size is once again super comfy. Of course that was once I’d tried what felt like a million bralettes

NadjaofAntipaxos · 03/07/2025 17:53

I'm a 32 F and swear by Lemonade Dolls bras. Try Vinted for them too. My friend got one new with tags for a fiver. I got one in the John Lewis sale recently for £18.

PickleChipsareyummy · 03/07/2025 20:45

i Love these by Lemonade Dolls. I’m a DD and this provides such great support and a fantastic shape. They’re expensive but you can get multibuy deals sometimes - I think 2 for £60. Worth it for the lack of side boob and hoiking them up.

I’ve just got some from conturve for anyone a bit larger. They are really comfy stay in place and great when in house

Watwatwat · 04/07/2025 11:09

I second Conturve, I used to wear the supermarket crop top type ones other pps have posted but found the cup inserts moved around and bunched up. Conturve have fixed padding and a back clasp for fastening (covered in soft material so you don't feel it) and adjustable straps, rather than having to pull it on over your head. They are often on flash sale as they are expensive in comparison to supermarket ones. They don't give a great push up type shape but are so comfy it doesn't bother me.

BasaFillet · 04/07/2025 13:50

Hi fellow giant boobed ladies! This is a great thread. I'm currently bf and am usually a 32f but now a 32GG and to be honest I hate them!! Would love a reduction!

Have tried many of the ones mentioned here but my boobs are bottom heavy and tend to 'escape' out of the centre of bralettes such as Bravissimo Zara (which I was sad about as its so pretty)

I don't mind the m&s flexifit bra but it kinda squashes them down and there isn't much support. I haven't heard of a couple of these brands (Boody, Bravado) so my disappointed boobie heart feels a shred of hope!! 😂

@PickleChipsareyummy that bra is SO lovely but it just would not work for my shape of boobs 😩

NotSmallButFunSize · 04/07/2025 14:00

Well bugger me - ordered the M&S one after reading this thread but had very low expectations as their bras never fit me (30ff or a g depending on brand) and I think I will actually keep it!!

Have just bought a bloody fabulous panache wired one and wanted a black one too but for £42 it was all a bit much - this one is definitely a decent result for something half the price! I like that you can cross the back straps too

These from M&S. I'm a 34HH and they have great support and shape. I've got them in mutiple colours now www.marksandspencer.com/lace-non-wired-non-padded-bralet-f-/p/clp60451802

I wear these and love them!! Ao comfortable and really supportive. 32FF

BeakyFlinders · 04/07/2025 16:21

Following as a fellow 32G!

OhBobbins · 04/07/2025 16:24

I'm a 34FF and have tried all sorts of bralette/non wired bras. My favourite by far is the M&S Rosie Contourwear non-wired bra which is £26.

They only go up to an E cup but I tried on my 'sister size', which is up a band size and down a cup size (or down a band and up a cup), and the 36E fits me perfectly. It doesn't dig in, gives me a good shape (I don't think it's obvious it's not a wired bra with a top on), and is really comfortable. I even wear it to exercise classes and find it supportive enough for moderate exercise.

Based on your size try a 34E and see how it feels. Good luck!

Bigbloomers, Conturve and Shapermint are what I'd recommend. You can often get new Conturve and Shapermint bras on Ebay
