Help me find something to wear for a choir concert (performing)

Hello mavens.

I am performing in a choir concert in a couple of weeks and the director wants us to dress in sunset colours. Red, orange, yellow, pink
sort of thing. I mostly wear black so don’t really have anything that goes.

I don’t want to spend too much as I’m on Mounjaro and hope it won’t fit me for long! I’m open to dresses or jumpsuits or tops. Dark hair, hazel eyes, pale skin that goes red easily.

The concert is inside, at night, so weather not really an issue. I’m a size 20 on top and 22 on the bottom.

Ideas or even advice on which search terms to use would be great! Thank you x

Are you front row? If not, then I’d wear your normal black trousers / skirt, and just search for a plain top in red (or whichever of those colours suits you best). EBay has quite a few plain t shirts and long sleeved tops in a range of colours and sizes. I’d go for long or 3/4 sleeve and not crew neck, as I think that looks a bit more formal.

Sounds lovely! I suppose it depends on whether you’re a very stylish, formally dressed, beautifully groomed group or more casual?

You could do anything from a sunset coloured t shirt:

to something like this fabulous dress (which could probably be altered to fit when you lose weight:

Thank you for your replies! I would say the people in the choir are very stylish but not formal. It’s actually a choir made up of members of the queer community and allies. I probably should have said that. Some quite avant garde choices. I’m not a flamboyant dresser myself.

Rainbows are banned 😂

Ombre gypsy skirt and a top. This sort of thing. Lots on Vinted...https://www.vinted.co.uk/items/6600519844-one-size-shirt
