I love this

pollywobbledoodle · 24/05/2008 19:53

this is mine

CrackerOfNuts · 24/05/2008 19:54

I only need one 'going out' top a year LOL

I usually wear a black strappy top with one of several little cardies I have and some jewellery - job done.

No now see i'd look crap in that top, it would make me look all chunky across the shoulders.

foxinsocks · 24/05/2008 20:08

first one looks pretty low cut - wonder if you'd end up having to wear something underneath it iyswim (would make me look pregnant I fear)

lovecat · 24/05/2008 20:21

I bought this last week and I love it - it comes down quite long on the body (and I'm long bodied anyway) so can be ruffled up to camouflage gut/muffin area as necessary. Am wearing with jeans, linen trews (although DH keeps shouting 'yo ho ho me hearties' when he sees me in that combo), little black skirt and shorts - is fab

woodenchair · 24/05/2008 20:21

The french connection one is nice, but you're right, it might cut too low with norkage.

haven't bought anyone this year yet, but last year I had about 4 all from primark and I'm wearing them again this year.

foxinsocks · 24/05/2008 20:21

I've found it very hard to find nice summer stuff this year. Have just been trawling loads of shops but didn't find much.

Oooo, I like the DP butterfly one. I must not buy anything else though, just had a week of shopping and have a whole new summer wardrobe and am now skint.

feck

If you wore it with a wide belt (I have a fab one from Monsoon), skinny jeans and heels it would look good, imo.

janeite · 25/05/2008 12:26

That silver DP one is pretty but I'm shuddering at what it must be made out of; in silk it would be lovely.

I like the silk Warehouse one that somebody linked to further down. Warehouse do lots of lovely silk camis usually too, which look nice with jeans.

Teuch · 25/05/2008 12:53

I have this in cream.

no, the coral was horrible, but the cream is quite nice with jeans.

And it cover my two-bellies rather well!

Anna8888 · 25/05/2008 13:20

When I'm in England I love my parents' patio overlooking the garden and the Wealden fields even more than the local (5*) pub... and my parents' wine is better too - and I don't have to pay for it... and I can wear anything I like, no-one's looking

Anna8888 · 25/05/2008 13:25

But that doesn't help you, I realise.

(Got a new Marni dress yesterday pm... and wore it to party brimming with (French) slebs last night )
