Hair always look frazzled

I get my hair coloured and trimmed about every 8 weeks and I do straighten it with heat protector but it looks really frizzy at the ends. I’m not sure about the colour or the style though I don’t want to lose the length.
What can I ask for at the hairdresser to make it look better?

L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil is excellent, also L'Oreal bond repair serum is good- half price in Tesco.

Thanks. I think I have some of that. I’ve tried loads of oils and serums but they don’t seem to help. I wondered if going darker would make my hair look shinier.

Keratin treatment would be great if your budget allows?

Is it dyed?

I find the l’oreal glycolic gloss leave in stuff good.

Also if you don’t already do a weekly hair mask then do that, your hair does look dry I think???

This could be my hair! Which is no help to you @Confuzzleduzzledbut I’m watching this with interest (and feel your hair pain)

My hair does this. I now use Milkshake Incredible Milk after washing. I have never found anything as good and actually now take it with me to the hairdressers. She agrees it works better on my hair that the Wow products they use Finish off with Bed Head shine spray. Let me know how you get on.

You need a good quality hair oil for the ends, it’ll seal it a bit and add moisture. On top of this, I’d do a weekly hair mask. Your hair looks dry and lacking in moisture so I would give it what it needs!

Try to limit heat styling tools if you can.

Argan Oil is good for post-styling.

I have been enjoying Moroccan Oil recently. You can buy it as a travel size if you want to try it out first. Add it to your ends (small amount) post-styling, you can also add a little pre-blow dry.

I use Miracle Oil shampoo and conditioner, then argan oil and Lee Stafford shine mist, and blast my hair until it's almost dry. Then I use the babyliss big hair spinning brush or a big round blow dry brush. Finish with a light spray of Lee Stafford anti humidity spray that I put down to the ends. That seems to work for me.
