Chloe and Liam shoes - has anyone bought from them?

Hi everyone, ads for this brand are following me around Instagram, and I have to say that I love some of the styles. I am loath to shell out on a pair without some trusted reviews, and can't actually find any. Has anyone seen any in real life, or bought any? https://wearchloe.com/

I've already bought three pairs of loafers this year and now I've seen new loafers I love on this site bacless and pointy toes. I do not need any more loafers!!!!!

Yet zero information about who they really are or are located.

Everything seems to be massively reduced "on sale" - nothing at a full price.

Yet another company selling painfully cheap rip offs of Alémais dresses.

The "about us" photos are generic stock photos.

The veneer of respectability slips on thecclothes section of the website. Someone cut and pasted clothes on to it but left the shoe information as header page.

I tried to buy a pair of shoes - a bit of an impulse buy without much thought and my bank blocked the payment. Having had a closer look, looks dodgy, but initially very convincing! They seem to have sprung from nowhere.

You had a lucky escape @SharonEllis. I agree that they look convincing and some of the styles look really nice, I feel quite disappointed! ☹️

Looks like it! Yes, annoying as there were some nice styles.

I ordered some. They took two weeks to arrive and look nothing like the pictures on the website. There was an overpowering smell of plastic and chemicals when I opened the bags. They were not even sent in shoeboxes! Avoid!

I suspect I’m going to have to claim back from my credit card.

The brand got back to my return request by offering a 10% refund if I kept them!
Alternatively it’s a 50% store credit - as if I’d buy from them again!!!!!

Exactly the same for me! They’re awful. Don’t resemble the shoes on the website at all. I’m going to try and return them but I don’t have much faith that I’ll get a refund. They didn’t even come from Chloe & Liam, Royal Mail said it was a delivery from Cainao?? Anyway scam. AVOID!!

Go via your credit card if you don’t get the money back eventually. I will. Am sending them back to China tracked (cost over £30!)

Ugh, I’ve been getting those ads too! The shoes are cute, but I’m always sketched out by brands that ONLY exist on Instagram. Did some snooping and:

• Their website looks super new (like, 6 months old new)
• All the ‘reviews’ seem fake – just generic 5-star comments with no real photos
• Zero mention of them anywhere else (no retail stockists, no fashion bloggers wearing them, nada)

If you’re obsessed with the styles, maybe try Charles & Keith or Mango for similar vibes from legit brands?

Don't buy. The shoes will arrive but you won't be able to get a refund if they're not right.

I’ve had two email responses from them offering me 10% refund and to keep the shoes then a 20% refund and keep the shoes, yeah right 🙄 also - and this cracks me up - 50% off on a future purchase!! Hello!!! 🤣
anyway, I’ve refused both options and as it’s a Klarna purchase payment by instalment, I’ve contacted them and they’ve put a halt on payment. So hopefully I may only be £18 out of pocket. Never again!

Yes, they were terrible quality and the buckle didn’t line up and the shoes were made of some sort of plastic with a terrible smell when I opened the packet!

I’ve now posted the box back to China at a cost of £38 but I had paid for four pairs! Never again!

AVOID buying from this company. The shoes are plastic and come wrapped in bubble wrap inside a plastic bag. I requested to return the shoes and was offered 10% of the cost back and informed I could keep the shoes.

I want to say that I bought a pair of shoes from Chloe and Liam, and compared to the photos on their website, they’re completely different. The photos on the website looked high-quality, but the actual pair I received was even worse than Temu or Shein. I’ve attached photos as proof — everyone, please take this as a warning! It’s outrageous, and there’s no way to return or get a refund. They’ll try to “compensate” you with various offers like coupons, but in the end you still can’t get a refund. It’s just a huge waste of time! Please, DO NOT buy from them.

Awful! Avoid at all costs. The quality is poor and the service is sickly sweet but unhelpful. They do everything they can to take your money and induce you to spend more with offers. When it comes to refunds and returns they don't help at all. Say goodbye to your money... or wiser still, spend it with a UK company!
