Hair Stylers....which ones are worth a go?

I'm 52 and longer length hair that's highlighted, and been savaged by the ruddy menopause . It's trimmed/cut a good few inches every 12 weeks without fail. I have a fringe as look a twat without one. It's got a wave to it and can look frizzy (Worzel Gummage) at times so I do use an oil and spray every day to help combat. I'd love to wear it down more and for it too look sleek etc or with a lovely curl to it.
I've got one of those large barrel heat stylers that I've had for years and to be honest my hair just frizzes. What do you guys use or swear by? I don't own any straighteners as again, I look a complete twat with 'Hair Straighteners' straightened hair. It needs some kind of bounce, wave, curl.

Put a wave in with your straighteners

OP has just said she doesn’t have any straighteners.

I am a dyson airwrap convert, it's amazing on my hair.

I'm a fan of GHDs. I have the ordinary straighteners but you can put bounce in by straightening from underneath, if you get what I mean. I have a longish separated fringe and put a wave near the bottom with my straighteners.
I've recently invested in some rechargeable cordless GHDs for holidays and they're fantastic.

Sorry, I read it as she did have straighteners 🙈

You could consider this?

it’s got a paddle brush attachment which will just dry your hair, the oval shape one is for volume, then you’ve got the two round ones which will give you a waves/curls.

I had the original one ( with just the oval brush) but upgraded to this one about six months ago!

Agree ^^ Revlon 1 step is the way to go.

Cheap, foolproof.

I have long, thick, wavy hair prone to frizz and dryness and this thing makes it bouncy and sleek in 10-15 minutes from wet.

ETA: I just have the basic oval one without all the attachments.
