What style of jeans are you wearing?

I don’t have any jeans that fit me and want to buy some for casual weekend wear. I’m 5’4”, size 12 but smaller waist and larger over the hips and thighs but with proportionally little legs so tend to need short length. I hate cropped. I think barrel are a step too far. What have you bought lately and loved?

I'm loving these 'magic' top slim flare .... very flattering on my 5'3 frame.

I’m 5 ft 4 with proportionally bigger thighs and short legs
I like Levi high rise bootcut ( 725 s) for when I’m going out.
I also have mango culottes which are high waisted and wide leg but full length on me. They re much cheaper

Ok, they have arrived! I can confirm I look an absolute twat in barrel leg jeans. They are already in the post going back! I also bought some palazzo jeans from Sainsbury’s, but given that my legs are short, I find they make my legs look short squares.

The New Look Adalae jeans are a different kettle of fish and I love them. I ordered them in a dark blue wash and a mid blue wash in petite. The mid blue are looser fit than the dark blue. I am keeping the dark blue and sending the lighter ones back. Both are labelled an extra short, but the ankles skim
the floor, so good luck with anyone that is properly petite!

M&S wide leg. The Autograph ones are excellent. I like the flared ones too. I’m quite tall but I know shorter people with them. Barrel legs suit tall skinny people.

I've recently discovered levis and bought two pairs of the superlow loose which i love. I feel a bit of a twat in all barrel jeans that I've tried on apart from the M&S Carrot Jeans, which I love for this time of year. The New Look Adalae are very good too.

I am also a pear shape. I just bought the AYR secret source jeans in the shade good mood, seen here. They are incredibly flattering - make my legs look really long and my stomach and bum look a good shape, without being uncomfortably high-waisted.
I also have the AYR knockout jeans in both colors, which are here. They have a hint of the fashionable barrel shape, but not so much that you look like you just got off a horse! They are gorgeous.
In both cases, at 5'4" I got the shorter length.

I’m still in skinnies! I just can’t part with them, I love them so much. I know it ages me, makes me look not on trend blah blah but I honestly don’t care. I just love them so much and they have ticked every box for me for the last 15/16 years. I’m just too old to change now.

I love these too. 5ft 4 and VERY pear-shaped with heavier calves and they are great.

From Mango I got what they call flares so they have pockets on the front rather than on the sides and flare out into being wide legs. However, they're cropped (other people's ankle size, but normal size for me). I like wide legs at the moment with a top being short or tucked in.

I've got the Siena in two colours, but preferring wide legs for the summer.

I've just bought another pair of the black Primark "mom" jeans I bought 6 months ago. They were reduced to a tenner which I deduce means they're going out of style, but I absolutely cannot countenance wide leg jeans. I'm broad of thigh and arse, and I'd look enormous if my jeans hung straight down from that point! These are nicely tapered, and make me look curvy rather than bulgy.
