They are small burn scars, about the size of 1-5P coin on her forearm and she’s very self conscious. Scars are about 2 months old, healed and flat but quite pink. We use bio oil to help healing. Now it’s summer she wants to wear short sleeves and is self conscious, has been using make up to cover but looking for something effective and long wearing.

I’d like to say money is no object, but can’t quite - however could to go up to around £30 for a good product.

It’s important to protect the new skin from the sun so I’d use a tinted 50+ face sunscreen. Dr Sam’s flawless tinted face sunscreen is a good one. You can buy in Sephora. I think it’s around £30

Just use a decent concealer. There are specialist ones for scars like Keromask. Is laser therapy an option?

I had similar burn scars and they faded within a few years. i just owned them until then.

Thanks for replying. Hadn’t heard of laser therapy but will look it up

I have a scar on my face and use Dermablend . Its expensive but a little goes a long way and if you set it with powder it’s bombproof.

I don’t use it very often now as I’m come to accept my scar is just part of me.
