Personal shopping with a stylist - is this enough?

I've had a big life change recently (moving to the UK after 15 years of living abroad in lots of different countries) and my wardrobe is a chaotic mess as a result, which caters mostly to very hot climates and very rural living. So I've treated myself to 2 sessions with a stylist - 1 'style discovery' where we pin down my style, and a personal shopping session.

I've budgeted £1500 for the clothes we're shopping for – does that sound like enough for a core wardrobe of basics and some fun pieces that I can build on over time?

I know there are a lot of people on here who spend a lot on a little for quality and price per wear because they already have a strong core to their wardrobe, but I'm not at that point yet, more building from the ground up.

Yes it’s enough. It may not get you loads of times but should get you several
outfits and start you off. Have fun!

My fried is a stylist and charges £900 for the day, is the £1500 for clothes only, if so if you go to the right stores it should be enough.

£1500 for a wardrobe sounds fine to me.

@Doggymummar yes, the session is already paid for so this is budget for whatever I buy.

It's been such a long time since I've been on a proper shopping trip, especially in the UK, I'm just not sure what things cost any more!
