Chest lines- any way to get rid?

Cowparsley1 · 20/06/2025 07:50

I’m not joking when I say these appeared overnight a few months ago. I’m 38, size 6-8 on top.

It’s old sun damage I know so more fool me but is there any way I can reduce the look of them? I did think retinol but I’m not sure I’d be comfortable putting thah on my chest area?

Help fellow MN’s, is there any hope for me?!

I don’t know the answer I’m afraid, but I’ve also noticed these on myself for the first time this week. I’m hoping it’s just the hot weather that’s brought them out and they go down soon.

I am much older and much more creased but i have found religiously using a firming body lotion and rubbing my skincare products over neck and chest have made a bit of a difference.

Also the age old adage / answer to all ills… drink more water to stay hydrated, especially in hot weather.

Silicone patches overnight. Retinol. Microneedling. Moisturiser.

They're hardly visible honestly, I wouldn't give it a second thought

Ummmmm you really look totally normal. Actually if anything that area looks on the young, unlined side for a 38 year old. Try to relax and enjoy your life. This will be the first of a million little realizations about your body that will get you down if you don’t just accept that you will age like all the other people on the planet.

Try to stay healthy, eat plenty natural food and drink water, and otherwise go with the flow a bit more. There is really no visible fault to anybody who was not searching for faults…..

I don’t mean to be dismissive. But I’m afraid you are just at the age when these things start setting in. I’m ten years ahead of you, and look back at pictures like this very wistfully. Never the less I try to remind myself to enjoy whatever I have now, because there’s only one direction it all goes in!

It’s side sleeping that does this. On top of the advice above, try sleeping on your back…I’ve been trying to train myself to do this for years now for this reason!

I’m a lot older but I’m having CO2 fractional laser to face neck and décolletage next week.
I can report back
Ive already had my eyes done and it has really smoothed the skin .
