What sports bras are good for running in with Boobs Dd+ or more?

Shock Absorber are good

yoshiblue · 15/06/2025 21:55

Shock Absorber….i had to go up a back side though

Goodlorditssummer · 15/06/2025 21:57

Sports bra with crop top over the top. Only thing I’ve found to stop me getting black eyes 🤣🤣🤣

MigGril · 15/06/2025 21:59

Shock Absorber, it's the only one that works for me.

thaisweetchill · 15/06/2025 22:23

I’m a GG cup, have tried so many and shock absorber is the only one that I feel gives the most support.

I've got this one from Bravissimo:

https://www.bravissimo.com/products/aspen-high-performance-bra-lg424/

Keeps my ample norkage well under control, and does it without turning my cleavage into a sweaty pond!

I have this one too it’s great and the racer back option is 👌🏽

Panache underwired on the racer back setting.

recyclemeagain · 15/06/2025 22:39

I vote Shock Absorber as well although I’ve also tried the Bravissimo Apollo sports bra which was excellent as well. No risk of giving myself any black eyes with either of those brands! Get fitted properly for your bra though as it’s so important especially for properly fitting sports bras. Bravissimo all the way for sure.

I’m a J cup and run marathons. It’s the Panache underwired ones for me- both Power and Endurance work well for controlling bounce but Power I think is better quality and lasts longer. I’ve had some issues on the hooks and wires for the Endurance. Ran 5 marathons in these.

I have recently got the CurvyKate Everymove however and am staggered by how good it is. I used to be happy with something that just controlled the bounce and accepted that I need to lug the weight of them around. The Everymove is so much better than that- it actually lifts them and feels like it’s doing the work for me- I feel lighter and running is easier! The downside is, I can’t do the damn racer back hook up without help!!! Therefore I have a couple of the Panache’s for in the week and use the CurvyKate for longer more serious sessions and races when I can plan for DH to help me get it on! On a bog standard Monday 5km before work sometimes he’s already gone!

I very much agree with a PP that a good bra and then a snug crop top over the top is the BEST feeling as nothing pulls heavily at the shoulder, from holding the boulders, and NOTHING moves.

Bra wise I like the sweaty Betty ultimate run bra, I find it better than the shock absorber, and USA pro crop tops (basically not v heavy duty sports bras) from sports direct, like 2 for £15 or something.

Thank you for the recommendations. Super helpful.

Elomi and Goddess are good brands.

Donaldduck22 · 16/06/2025 04:20

Another vote for bravissimo, I'm a 36E and its the best sports bra I've ever had and Ive tried quite a few. I'll try link the one I've got.

itsgettingweird · 16/06/2025 04:36

I got one from Amazon.

I was dubious because I’ve never seen them but this one has Velcro straps and you adjust it as needed. It’s bloody brilliant! So supportive but not the prettiest of sports bras!

It’s this one

Freya Dynamic I'm a 38G runner and weight lifter. This is my favoured sports bra, but I'm intrigued by the Curvy Kate one mentioned by pp. Shock Absorber good too.

sonnybeaudelaire · 16/06/2025 07:57

I wonder if it’s just me but I really struggle to get the bloody things on and off! I am going for the same size as my regular bras from Bravissimo. Does anyone else have this problem?

Seriestwo · 16/06/2025 08:00

This is great, thanks. I need to control the bounce
