Adidas Spezial - do I need to size up?

Was about to order my first pair of Adidas Spezials and the site I’m on says they come up small and to size up. Has anyone found this to be the case? I’m usually a 5, should I get the 5.5?

I found them quite loose fitting esp in width. Got my usual size.

i went up 0.5 a size for length and they are just right. They are a wide fit though compared to the samba

Definitely agree they fit wider than Sambas. I ordered my usual size and they were fine.

I’m size 5 with wide feet and they are perfect in my usual size. Comfiest shoe ever for me!

Yes! I got the 5 (my usual size) and they fit perfectly. Love them!

Same! I had to size down from a 6 and I have wide feet.
