Can't beat a beautiful diamond but I also love Aquamarine and emerald. What about you?

Emeralds, when they are dark and shiny, not cloudy

Paraiba tourmaline and diamonds. I have the most stunning ring!

I love Tanzanite, Opals and Pearls too.

I think Emeralds look beautiful but I was told that they are unlucky so wouldn’t wear emeralds.
I know I know 🙈but…..
I really dislike Garnets and Amethysts

I was told (by a jeweller) that emeralds are said to be unlucky because they're difficult to set without cracking them.

I love emerald and sapphire. I also have some earrings that I think are malachite, which looks lovely in a yellow gold setting.

Alexandrite…I’m currently having a ring made using a beautiful green/purple alexandrite and diamonds.

Tanzanite and Tsavorite are beautiful.
I also love Opals and Labradorite.

I bought myself an opal and diamond ring for my 50th this year, and it makes me happy every time I see it on my hand.

We went to the NHM recently and DD11 and I were mesmerised by the room full of gemstones (Earth's Treasury). We've been loads of times but never been in there, it was amazing! DS6 wasn't so interested but the two of us could've stayed in there all day...

Sapphire, Emerald and Aquamarine are my faves. I find diamonds a bit boring.

Opal, emerald, sapphire, garnet, peridot and watermelon tourmaline. Plenty of choice there!

Opals are bad luck unless it’s your birth stone.

I love alexandrite and have some amazing Alexandrite stud earrings with good colour change, purple to smoky blue according to the light.
Apart from that, I have always felt an affinity with diamonds, my birthstone.

I think they’re beautiful but I’m a tad superstitious. I don’t like that about myself. But it is what is.

Emeralds. Love the glowy greens.

And if you knew me you wouldn’t believe that. But it’s true. My grandson was do 7/13. I didn’t want him born that day. And somehow he wasn’t born until the 14th. Even my son was happy and I know it’s stupid but there you go.

Aquamarine and pink Tourmaline. Tourmaline comes in so many colours, it’s an amazing gemstone.

Actually I like most stones apart from rubies and peridot. No idea why, especially as peridot is my birthstone.
