Anyone else had nano ring extensions who can talk about their experience?

I have very fine thin hair which I’ve always been insecure about. It used to be thick and long which is so sad. I decided to get extensions because I felt so awful.

i got my nanos fitted a month ago but got them refitted a few days ago because I wanted to change the colour of the extensions. When she took the extensions out my hair was already so much thinner than before I got extensions - not an illusion because I had lots of before photos of my hair!

the thing is I’m also 5 months postpartum so not sure if I’m also having hair loss from this. She’s very reputable for extensions and fits loads of people’s hair daily and has repeated customers.

has anyone else had Nando’s damage their hair?

Nandos hasn't damaged my hair but has definitely affected my waistline. Sorry couldn't help myself.

It's very hard to say whether the extensions have caused damage or not yet. I always recommend women who are post partum to abstain from any extensions except for clip ins as needed until hair has finished shedding and has begun to properly regrowth post shed. This can around 4-6 months post shed. The reason for this, is that hair needs to and will naturally shed as your growth cycles resync. If your hair is shedding and the weight of the extensions is greater what they are fixed to, it may cause breakage. Alot of breakage.

This is obviously only my opinion and experience. Others will or may sat it's absolutely fine.

I had to tick a box to say I hadn't had a baby within the last 6 months. I was definitely still shedding hair at 5 months pp. I've just had nano rings fitted on fine hair now at nearly 2 years pp she did pick lighter weight hair.

I'd say postpartum hairloss is a big factor.

Can I ask how much it cost please, I'm considering extensions when my hair grows another few inches but unsure about the cost involved.
