Long body cotton t shirts for yoga

I cannot find what I need, which I find weird because I'd have thought everyone needs these for yoga!:

I want long t shirts. Which go over my hips so provides some modesty in leggings and so they don't ride up revealing naked midriff and need adjusting in downward dog.

I want them fitted. Not baggy. So it doesn't make me look like I'm a circus tent (big boobs) and so it doesn't flop open when in a plank.

I want it cotton so I can wear it all day not just when exercising.

Why can't I find this??
Please help.

I don’t know but long bodied fitted leisure wear that doesn’t ride up is an issue for me too (less fussed about cotton, but otherwise my requirements are the same)

Beyondburnout · 13/06/2025 11:25

Primark has some long vests.

I was going to say BAM too - lots of diff styles & some in the sale too.

timestressed · 13/06/2025 12:16

I have mine from Sainsburys and M&S.

timestressed · 13/06/2025 12:17

Oh, mine aren't cotton though. They are stretch/sporty kind. You'll find most yoga students wear stretchy tops.

Matalan longline - recommended to me on here about 10 years ago and been faithful to them ever since.

CRZ Yoga have a long-ish cotton t shirt that I really like for yoga/body balance. Very nice and lightweight although I’d not recommend the pale grey one as it’s quite see through.

Grumplechops · 13/06/2025 12:20

Bam - lovely soft yoga tops. This one is longer line and has a ruched bottom to help stop it riding up. bambooclothing.co.uk/shop/gathered-hem-air-bamboo-t-shirt-sunkissed-coral/

Thanks everyone!

I don't want a vest i need top arm cover.

The matalan ones aren't cotton.

M&S don't seem to do a long fitted style.

But the BAM ones with the ruched hem look great!!

I’ve got that Bam one that Grumplechops linked to. It’s great; covers the bum and the ruched bit keeps it in place.

NormalAuntFanny · 13/06/2025 14:40

Never found a nice long top so I wear an actual vest tucked into my leggings then whatever I want on top, usually a thin bamboo top.

This completely works and the top never slips up when upside down and even if it did you have the vest. I do quite dynamic yoga but it's fine heat wise too.

FourBlackCats · 13/06/2025 15:01

I also wear BAM ones. Nicer than cotton I think - softer with better drape. I prefer the flow ones rather than the ruched hem ones because the shoulders on those are too narrow for me.

ThePoshUns · 13/06/2025 15:07

I’ve got the Bam one too with the ruched hem.
can confirm it doesn’t ride up even in downward dog.🐕

PricklyLikeCactus · 13/06/2025 16:59

I buy these for the same kind of reasons. Mens but good length on me, narrow and fitted, cotton.

Came on to say BAM but many pp have beaten me to it! I bought this recently and it gives a little more coverage on the arms without being sweaty, and stays in place around the hips. Tempted to buy a couple more as they are so nice, and good colour choice too

These from Asquith are pricey but perfect

I've ordered one of these and one of the ruched hem ones.

There definitely seems a lack of offering in practical long wear.
