claires accessories my sis gets them from there all the time

AitchTwoCiao · 22/05/2008 18:17

i hear that topshop only has ginormous one in at the moment (my friend was in there yesterday). and weirdly M&S search function brought up no footlesses... it did, however, bring up a storage jar and a pair of men's flat-front trousers amongst all the waggly stocking legs.

lol at the last one. oh yes, i'd steer clear of the short t-shirt and leggings look if i were a guy too...

i'm afraid i have left it too late to order before i go off on hols, so it's to the UK high st i must go...

Come to OZ. It's the home of footless tights. You can even get them ruched up the side like the vile cargo pants worn by Kim of Kath and.

Enid · 23/05/2008 12:26

you need an old fashioned dept store and get wolfords (thick, opaque black ones)

I wear them with a dress thingy and I am nearly 42

AitchTwoCiao · 23/05/2008 14:55

an old-fashioned dept store is exactly where i am headed first, but i need summerweight ones, lol.

I got some in h&m. They have themin lots of colours

castille · 23/05/2008 15:01

A dance shop.

My DD wears them for her contemporary dance classes. They don't have to be shiny...

AitchTwoCiao · 23/05/2008 20:09

'kay, i got them in accessorise, realised i had some monsoon tokens lying around. lord knows they're probably revolting but i had fifteen zillion other things to grab in town and kept bumping into minor pop heroes so i was glad to get something.

Black? To the ankle? Or to the calf?

Sadly, I look like a rugby playing heifer 'cello' (pear with fat ankles acc to T&S) so I will only look on with envy at your floaty summer dress with leggings look.

Have you been to Italy yet?

Enid · 23/05/2008 20:42

summerweight tights

are you sure

AitchTwoCiao · 23/05/2008 21:08

well, not 15 denier or anything. my friend showed me her topshop ones and they were positively woolly, so i didn't want those. i'd say these ones are probely 60 or so denier. actually i'm guessing, as i haven't had them out of the pack yet. but they don't look woolly, thank god.

oddly, the hyooge ginormous tights dept in my local frasers has now been taken over by mulberry etc bags (and radley, now there's a shudder) and has been cut back to a teeny little display section with no footless tights. what does this say about british womanhood, i ask you?

next week, will, next week... [bliss icon]

AitchTwoCiao · 23/05/2008 21:08

jesus. probably. in case you thought i was being cute with that probely.
