I'm a winter but I like earthy tones

I'm a winter but as it says above I like earthy tones. I have seen a beige coat that I like also a kakai dusty green jumper but I'm wondering if I should avoid them? I'm not keen on pastels either!
Let's have your opinions?

I know this sounds arsey but I just wear whatever colour I like?

I usually do, but I am so fed up with myself and with what I wear, I want a change. I look so run down 🤣

Tricky one.

You should wear what you like.
But if you think you look run down and are a winter, aren't the earthy tones going to make you look more run down?

Probably the only thing to do is to try on the items?

Wear some fake tan and dye your hair maybe?

I am also a winter who loves earthy tones, but I do like some of my winter colours too.
You could wear the earth tones and just accept that you won't look your best in them.
You could adapt, wear the beige coat but with a winter colour underneath or a scarf for example.
What I do a lot is wear a winter colour on top with an earth tone below. Today I'm wearing a purple top but paired with chocolate brown trousers (dairy milk!)
I think it mainly matters when the colour is against your face!

Can you wear the coolest versions of the earth tones you love?

I am an autumn of the warmest type and subsequently any neutrals from the soft autumn palette (at the neutral/warm end of the palette) wash me out. Or neutrals from the soft summer palette which is neutral/cool so they are more quartz/taupey toned but would still fit in the earth tones bracket.

I'm a winter tone, but for some reason, always get complimented when wearing khaki, so I wear it! Beige is definitely off the table for me, it makes me look dead.

I love wearing white, black, navy, bright green (this is probably my favourite). I find pastels tricky, so tend to avoid them. A bit of make-up helps enormously too.

Same here.

I have no idea what I am but Im definately attracted to autumn colours. TBH I dont want to get my colours done, why create a fake restriction for yourself?

Wear what you love. Im pretty sure if you put something on and it really doesnt suit you then it will be obvious and you wont want to wear it!
This is why I never get involved in the whole butter/lemon yellow trends that seem so popular. I look drained and ill in soft yellows (give me a nice mustard yellow and Im happy though!).

I am clearly out of the loop - but what the hell is "I am a winter"? What does it mean?
