What summer heels are you wearing?

Can hardly believe I'm thinking about this as in general I'm quite anti heels and certainly haven't worn strappy sandals in years. However I keep thinking a heel of some sort would be nice with flowy trousers/sets kind of thing for dressy occasions. What kind of style feels current? I see flip flop heels are kind of in and I don't hate the look but they seem v uncomfortable.

None because I busted my ankle last year and I still can’t tolerate anything that isn’t flat 😭
So I shall live vicariously through this thread!
Mind you I rarely wore heels these past 5 or so years anyway, more chunky platform type stuff if heels but that’s about it.

A pair of years old espadrilles. I would if I knew where gey are as were mid house move and their in a box somewhere

Heh sounds like there might be a general vibe of not overly bothered about heels this summer then!
I keep looking at options and being like, can I be arsed though?
Espadrilles are a classic but don't suit me at all.

I rarely wear heels now, very occasionally to flatter a posh frock. I've noticed so many women wearing boots or trainers to social events while stumbling in my heels and just thought, yeah, they look great and much more comfortable.

I'm not in my 20s any more, far from it, and tbh no one notices or cares anyway.

So, flat or wedge shoes are my go to now, especially glittery sandals. X
