What to wear with a bit of a tummy

I am conscious of my tummy, size 12, 10 stone with a bit of a tum.

Normally wear work unform or gym wear but get stuck when going out for the day. I have skinny jeans but they are uncomfortable.

I like the look of the linen wide leg trousers but im 5ft 2 and they all seem massive.

Any suggestions please?

i'm the same, size 10 but with no waist and a bit of a tum
i wear shapewear underwear to have a bit of a cinch and then tend to live in jumpsuits or dresses with built in waistbands and flared skirts or wider trousers?

I don’t care if low rise jeans are coming back “in”……high-waisted everything is your friend 😂🙌🏻
I will only buy high rise/high waisted jeans, shorts - everything.
Im quite petite, and I think the high waist helps elongate my torso and of course cinches you in at the waist…..and keeps everything exactly where you want it.

Empire line midaxi dress - which will likely be a perfect length maxi dress for you (they usually are for me). Colour / sleeve length / neckline / material that you like best.

It's my go to for "don't want anything tight around my stomach" days, if feeling a bit bloated or just want to be able to eat a large lunch without that cutting in waistband feeling. And a dress automatically means top and bottom half match perfectly with no effort, just throw it on with preferred shoes (trainers / sandals / boots) and sorted.
