How to wear/style this skirt?

I have this lovely long crinkle satin skirt but in a midnight blue.

I just can't work out how to wear it in the summer. It's great in the winter with boots and jumpers or a wrap-over top, but I can't make it work at this time of year. Should I leave it till autumn again or is there something I can do?

I am considerably wider than the woman in the picture (when it shows) - about a 14/16 and 5'7''.

I used to wear these in the early 90s. You had to wrap them up while damp to get the crinkle effect.

I wore mine with a black 3/4 sleeve body suit and I think tan loafers.

Sometimes with a man’s white shirt tied at the waist and a thick belt.

I had forgotton that I had a pale pink dress like that. The skirt is that effect but different material.
