Help! Urgent ish- How can I style a silk shirt this evening?

I want to wear my navy silk shirt from Reiss this evening, but it’s raining so I’m not sure about the bottom half. If it was a sunny evening I’d opt for white jeans with brown sandals, or even dark jeans with sandals. As it’s raining and the meal I’m going to is only smart casual I’m tempted to wear trainers but how can I style this?

I will be wearing a trench coat and I’m tall size 12.

Please can you help me style an outfit?

Great shirt - ideal for smart casual. I would keep whole out fit quite low key . Would wear with dark jeans, smart trainers or Mary Janes and a good belt/ earrings.
