Day drinking and a club- what do people wear now?

I'm struggling to find an outfit that will be fine to go clubbing in. I realise this is because I haven't been to a club since before covid. What will I need to wear? 40s and overweight. Oh and what footwear?

I’m going to a gig and I need an outfit too… I’m following for advice!

Trainers.
Then jeans/skirt and top or dress. Not a bloody jumpsuit as you don't want it trailing on the floor in scuzzy toilets.

But what kind of top? 😂 j have absolutely no ideas these days

Zara do some really nice tops - check out the crochet halter neck ones (can’t seem to do a link) would look good with wide leg jeans and trainers.

I have a jumpsuit and it's no difference from wearing trousers. The only bad thing is I need someone to help do the zip up.

So big baggy jeans, really relaxed dressed down? Can someone post an image please? What sort of dress? Mine are midi and maxi- surely not these?

I'm going to Day Fever in a few weeks. Will be wearing ivory wide leg jeans, which are slightly loose fitting, black faux leather bandeau top, and brown Adidas campus 00 trainers.

I would do jeans trainers and a dressier top…my current go to are a cream off the shoulder Bardot style top I’ve owned for years or a black strapless top

Thank you. My clubbing time was the 90s so sounds similar. Would wide leg black trousers do instead of jeans??

I've done Dayfever several times, along with a few other day time clubs.

The order of the day is wear whatever you're comfy in. You see all sorts of different styles of dress. Trainers and flats everywhere! The events are mostly full of 40+s, mostly women, so none of us give a damn about the outfits -we're all there to dance our pants off!

Is it day clubbing, or a day out followed by night time clubbing?
I went day clubbing over Easter, I wore these trousers with a black smarter vest top, and red flats
