Are both of these OK - I need to try both on to choose which one works best with my colouring:

I am a bit worried that silver might be too close to white - dont want to tread on anyones toes.

Wow these are stunning. Go for gold if you are unsure xx

I'm usually very much in the wear what you want to a wedding camp but as beautiful as both dresses are, are you not worried about upstaging the bride?

alcoholnightmare · 06/06/2025 13:39

I agree with @Plump82- I’d keep either of these for a black tie or NYE event - unless that’s the theme of wedding?

Nice dresses, but not for a wedding. Too glitzy and risk upstaging the bride/bridesmaids.

Jasmin71 · 06/06/2025 13:47

Far to much sparkle for someone who isn't in the bridal party.

CarpetKnees · 06/06/2025 14:00

I'm not sure either of them say 'wedding dress' to me.

Save it / them for a black tie event or special evening event.

middleagedandinarage · 06/06/2025 14:10

I don't think either are very suitable for a wedding

Leavetheteabaginthecup · 06/06/2025 14:12

I would have been delighted to see people look so well at my wedding. If you're in doubt if silver or gold suit you better, upload a picture of yourself make up free in natural lighting to ChatGPT and ask. I did a colour analysis that way & found it really accurate.

I agree. And the silver one will make you look like a disco ball.

MsPug · 06/06/2025 16:43

I love them and you will look fab! Silver is better I think. I would of loved to see someone in this at my wedding

A bit OTT for a wedding guest IMO. But beautiful dresses just the same, maybe for a different occasion?

However as pp said, perhaps it's a glitzy wedding and the dress code says sparkles galore!

I'd go for the gold one, if you decide to buy.
