Tell me about your nails - gel or otherwise

I have been having gels, but these only last around 2 weeks at most and after around 10 days some of the nails are lifting.

What alternatives are there out there for me ? I am 50 and still think of acrylic nails as a whole false nail glued onto my own nails, which I don't want.

I get biab - it's a very thick polish that dries rock hard and has gel on top. I get them every 3 weeks and they never chip, look shiny and lovely.

I do my own dip powder gels at home.
They've proven pretty sturdy!

I also get biab. Love them have them usually redone every 3 weeks can run to 4 if on holiday.

I get BIAB and love them as my nails haven’t split or chipped since getting them. Mine have to last 4 weeks as I can’t get booked in any sooner!

My gels lasted at least four weeks without lifting. Though the amount of growth looked silly after 3 weeks. I'd try a different salon.
