Has anyone had an eyelash lift - any tips?

I had one about 30 years ago (think it was called an eyelash perm then?) - it looked fantastic but barely lasted a week.

Anyone have this done and have any tips? I also need them dyed so is this done on the same appointment or done separately?

I get LVL done periodically which is a lift and tint. It’s between £45 and £55 and worth every penny IMO. I still look like me - they don’t look ridiculous or anything - but so much better, more awake and groomed.

It lasts for about 3 weeks, I think - basically as long as it takes for your eyelashes to grow out and be replaced by your normal untreated ones.

My tip - don't go straight in the shower like I did! You have to leave it 24 hours.

I had mine done recently. Avoid getting them wet for the first 24 hours. I sleep on my front which kind of caused them to fall back down, so try and avoid that if you can. I was advised by the salon to brush them up regularly to keep them up. I love how they look when they're done. I need mine done again. Make sure you get a patch test done first, as the solution is quite strong.

I love it and they look so much better than big false ones. You get them lifted and tinted at the same time. You can ask for how lifted you want them. The more straight up the longer they take to fall. The onky bad thing is you have to keep getting them done abiut once a month.

I do it myself at home - lift and tint. It's taken a bit of practise but mine last longer than 4 weeks - I'd say by 6 weeks I'm looking at it thinking it's time to do it again.

I love it - it looks good-natural, rather than fake eyelashes which generally do look fake.

If you fancy the adventure, then I recommend the waxier glue, get the eyelid moulds as floppy as possible and make sure you've got a size your happy with, and use the clingfilm tape stuff over the goop to make sure it stays moist. Oh, and be very finicky with how you comb them before you put the goop on, because they will stay however you set them! Oh, and get sachets rather than bottles of the stuff, because it definitely goes off after a couple of months and stops working (which is disappointing given the effort of doing it)
